School is crazy, scheduale is crazy, life is crazy.....

Yea. It's all pretty much crazy. The latest update on me is... new cell phone... (the voyager).. new friends.... new year..... and new drama.

I've decided to update my blog once a month.... that's all i can promise. :/ My life is super hectic and i am blogging instead of studying......

My blog is, super sad to say, on the baack burner. The front burner is occupied with trying to make sure my head doesn't explode. :T

I also got this book from my brother. It is called, "Fairest". It is about a girl who is an amazing singer but is ugly. So everyone won't even give her a chance to sing and she has to hide away in her parents' Inn. Is my family trying to tell me something? If so, is it and insult or complement? And it my acne really THAT BAD?

Mother made sure my passion for theatre was fed with one of my all time fave musicals, "NEWSIES"!

And Daddy fed my passion for Music with Taylor Swift...:)

Poor Hurky looked at us like this the whole day while we were having fun.

We headed over to a party at some friends' house after we hit the showers......

Then we went to Grandma's for some Christmas fun.. :)

We ate a super yummy ham dinner and then... Opened presents of course!

Yesterday, my mother and I went to a fun little Baking Day over at her friend Amanda's. It was really fun. We all made a couple recipes, and then took some of each home! YUMM! Here are the results...

We ended up with a TON of cookies. We filled the whole kitchen with them!! :O I recommend going this with your girlfriends sometime but CAUTION! Use a good blender or THIS might happen after the fourth mix or so.

I MET STEPHANIE MEYER!!

It was so funny! We were at this stake bell choir concert in my Grandma's Stake, and we saw her there (she is a mormonian) She Grew up with my uncle and came to my parents' wedding BTW. It was SO funny cuz my dad was all, "Do you want me to introduce you?" and I was all, "Like totally father dearest!". So after the concert we realized she was parked RIGHT behind us, so we walked over to her car, and she goes, "Oh hey Scott!", like she just saw us the day before or something! It was so cool! They started talking about my uncle and aunt and then my dad goes," So, this is my daughter Carly", "I LOVE your books", I say. "And she says, "Thanks, It is nice to hear that from my fans", and stuff like that. Then we took a picture and left! It was so cool. She is really nice, and it was fun talking to her.

I let you see the picture if you promise not to deny that it is me! My dad had to use his camera phone.....

OK OK... HORRIBLE PICTURE! But I promise it is real!... they saw a picture is worth a thousand words but, Dad, this one says only 4. GET A NEW PHONE!

Christmas?

So I'm sitting here on the computer and all of my thoughts are racing. I'm doing about a bazillion things at a time and thinking of one hundred more....but all I want to do is vent on my blog. It's Christmas time! We only have about four weeks to enjoy it! What am I doing locked up in this cold, stressful, jail cell that I call my mind? It's that darn chunk of exhaustion in my life. You might call it EIGHTH GRADE. I call it "SUDDENLY TRYING TO PREPARE YOU FOR LIFE AND HIGH SCHOOL AND STUFF BUT ACCUALLY JUST MAKING YOUR LIFE MISERABLE" It's a long name, but it fits. Fits perfectly. I'm stressing out about all of my grades, even though most of my classmates would kill to have my A's and B's report card. They all think shooting for all A's is useless and dissapointing, but I am NOT gining up! I am a child of God! I can do it, right? Can I? I think I can I think I can.

Okay time for a happy thought.

A New Hobby

Trevlyn... this post is for you! When we were at the craft fair, I found some cute little hair clips with flowers on them! I LOVED THEM. I wanted one so bad, but they were SIX dollars, which I thought was TOO MUCH. Plus, in the back of my head, I was saying, "I could tottaly make that!" Which led me to THIS:

They are all aligator clips, even though all you can see are the flowers. :) I think the blacks my fav! What about you?

So, here is a funny story for you:

As my mother (aka foxy best friend) and I were pulling up to the orthidonics office, I noticed a red truck with the name "Dicky Do" all over it in curvy letters. I'm thinking, okay thats weird, but I didn't pay much more attention to it scince my mind was also preoccupied with the thought "Omygosh the stupid braces are going to hurt they're going to tell me not to eat all my favorite foods and give up my worst habbit (chewing ice) and worse of all I am going to be squerming around and making a fool of myself since I cannot stand the feeling of metal against my teeth" and other things like that. So i open my door (we were now parked next to Dicky Boy's truck ) and I saw this:

I DOUBLED OVER with laughter! I turned to my mom and pointed to it, and we have now established the new catch frase... "Dicky Do loves Polka Music!"

My New Best Friend

I have been on the hunt for a new best friend. FINALLY, yesterday, I found her. Her name is Noel. She is really cute, playful, and fun to be with. She is also very fluffy, I might add. "WHAT?" you're thinking! Alright you caught me. I don't REALLY have a new best friend. BUT, my mom's friend JUST got a new English Cream Retriever, and, omygosh, is she cute! Well? Any pictures? What? I AM too young to vote? (Oh yea, how old you are in the heart doesn't count) Well, anyway, at our school, kids had the right to vote! Now, this could be good or bad, since most kids just vote for whoever is on their parents bumper sticker... but I was pretty excited! (And I accually know the politics involeved.) As you al obviously know from my last post.... I voted McCain/Palin. SARA PALIN ROX! I love Palin. McCain? Not so much. But ya know. That's how it works. They're a package deal. :)

HALLOWEEN! My Halloween was a BLAST! I got to show off my three years of theatre experience. Anyone want to guess who I was? Why, the marvelous Sarah Palin, of course!

OK, so I have to explain... my mom told me to try to make a Sarah face once, and now my face is stuck like this. I look like a retard in all the pics! Oh well. But my mom is a fox.

SO... yesterday, Trevlyn took me to a craft fair with her that she set up a stand at to sell her adorable dolls and what not. ;) I just love all her creations and cannot stop looking at them HERE! Sorry, Trevlyn, that we didn't have much success! We only sold four items! I guess you just need to find your perfect fair to sell at. (This one was kind of for the "rocker" crowd, with lots of skulls and stuff. Deffinatly not her style! LOL)

MY DEFINITION OF MARRAIGE: when a man and a woman legally become partners and set a foundation for families.

Sadly, we live in a world where ideas about this are strange, and changed to any "two people" can get married. Proposition 102, for those of you who don't know, is a proposition that states that marriage can only be between one man and one woman, and supports the family. (Dragqueens do NOT count as women BTW, people! :P eeewww gross) To show our spirit, my Daddy and I put up a "YES! on 102." sign in our yard. I feel so patriotic! or something like that......

Okay, so I know I just barely posted, and COURT was the only one who saw it! But, I have to write about Laurin's party!!

When we got home we played truth or dare, and put a toilet paper turban on Tiffany. (She won the light saber at Dave and Bunster's)

9-11 Story

In memory of September 11th, 2001, our Launguage class did a fictional story about a made up charater involed in the disaster. I have learned so much through the memorial we did at school and felt that this was important to share! My character is Margaret-- a firefighter. Enjoiy!

9-12-08 7th hour

“Margaret! We need you PRONTO!” Ryan, my melodramatic team leader, and boyfriend, yelled at me when he walked into the lounge.
“Can’t you see I’m eating, idiot? Get Tyler to do it. He loves all those urgent ones”, I hollered at him. Why did he look so distressed?
“No, you don’t understand. We’ve caught news that the North tower at the World Trade Center has just caught fire from an explosion!”
I could not believe what I was hearing. I remember taking fieldtrips to the World Trade Center in High School. Now I was determined to save it. I frantically put down my one dollar breakfast burrito from McDonald’s, and pulled up my suspenders. Before I could catch my breath, I was shoved in the truck, sitting on a bench, and listening to a radio show go on and on about the history of hijacked plane incidents. How scary would it be to know that there was a hijacked plane near you? That’s what I was thinking until I heard the dude verify that that’s what had happened. A plane. A plane had been hijacked. A plane had be hijacked, and flown into the world trade center. TWO? Two planes? Two planes had been hijacked? Two planes were hijacked. Oh. My. Oh….my…..gosh……
I had never been in a rescue so serious. I mean sure, twenty people in an apartment building, or a tupper-ware factory on fire, but never something this……HUGE. I mean in importance. Not size.
As soon as we had arrived at the twin towers, I jumped out and ran for the first floor daycare center. No child was going to die while I was on the job.
I was running when I heard Ryan yell, “Maggie! Maggie, come back!”,
“The daycare center!”, I screamed at him. Then I felt him grab my arm.
“Maggie, the fire it all the way up there” he said, pointing up to the massive ocean of smoke in the sky. Mesmerized, I walked back over to the group of yellow suits, keeping my eyes locked on the fire. He was right; they would be fine for twenty minuets while we put out the fire.
“Okay, now that we’ve got this crazy woman settled down,” Ryan said to all of the firefighters. I was the only woman on their team, and I was used to all the teasing. I stuck out my tongue anyway. “We need to send three of you up there to put out the fire. Another two will handle finding survivors, and four more will gradually lead an escape.” As the men were figuring out who will do what, I was watching people who were above the fire, jump out windows to their death, since there was no escape. I gasped as two hit the ground.
“You can go to the fourteenth floor and help survivors down the ladder, okay?” Ryan said to me.
“Ryan, I think we need to evacuate the children.” I said, half looking at Ryan’s face and half wondering why I felt like this was so urgent. A mother’s instinct? What was I thinking! I’m not a mother!
“We need to focus on the big problem right now, which is the fire. Come on; let’s go get the ladder set up. They are perfectly safe in there, and they don’t need to see what is going on out here. ”
But I wouldn’t listen. I burst through the doors of the daycare, and was just about to explain myself to the lady looking at me, when I heard outside,
“Oh, *****!! Its collapsing!” Apparently, the woman heard it too, and that was her explanation for a woman firefighter bursting through the doors of the peaceful daycare. We both looked at each other, for half of a second, scared to death, and started telling the children to go out the doors. I had my hand on the fifth child to head out and was pushing her trough the door when I saw the roof cave in. She had braces on her legs. She wasn’t going to make it out! I swooped her up into my arms and ducked through the falling roof, out the door. When I looked back, all that was left was a heap of dry wall. I grabbed the four children that had made it out, plus the little crippled girl still in my arms, and somehow found the door of the truck through the huge cloud of ash and smoke we were all trapped in. I shoved them all on the benches, and quieted them down. Then we sat there in silence for about a minute, and I was thinking about the other children and that woman that didn’t make it out in time, until Justin, another firefighter on my team, opened the door to the truck.
“Margaret? Oh, hey. Um, there are people all over the streets covered in ash and coughing and stuff, and um…”
“You want me to come help settle things down”, I finished his sentence.
“Yea, pretty much. Ryan says you’re good with all the drama after the disaster.”
I was about to jump out, when the little girl grabbed my arm. I leaned over, and she whispered in my ear, “Thank you for saving us. You’re pretty for a fireman.”
I smiled, and said, “You’re pretty too-- for such a little girl.”
I left the security of the peaceful truck full of kids, and walked into the gray world of a disaster aftermath. Little did I know, this day of disasters was only beginning.

We've Reached Civilization!

That's right, folks! I"M BAAAAAACK! YAY! I really like our new house, and I am shuper excited to tell you about my weeks! (even if they aren't that exciting)

It started with battling the dirt and germs....
And resulted in a tired ME!

Okay before I go on, first I just have to give a little "WOOOOO! Yay! YAHOO! OH YAH BABY! AHH!!!" because Breaking Dawn came out!!!! Anyone besides my obsessed friend read it yet?? What did you guys think??

Ok, back to a week at grandma's. It all started at my Aunt Kiki's house. We stayed there (me and Adam) while our stuff all moved.

But of course Shar kept her Happy face on!

The rest of that week was filled with sleepovers, packing, and painting my room. (I will post about that later)

At My Grandma's

I got my hair cut again... but it is nothing drastic. I just got cuter bangs (my dad calls them sassy) and some shorter layers on top. It is getting really thick! I love short hair!!

Okay, so my pics for this post are kind of lame, but who can't post about a great holiday?? (Court! THAT'S who!...) erg. Anyway, yesterday our family went over to a friends house and swam, and barbecued! We also went to 5 & diner for shakes, and I got to have a sleepover! So... "No fireworks?" you ask? I know! GASP!! Well actually, I stand corrected, we saw a glimpse of some on the way to get shakes. But, ya know, that still doesn't count and we are big loser faces.

Alright everyone, I know HSM has been ruined by mankind with their stupid obsessions, but you know I am always a sucker for a professional musical. SO, when I was invited to go to High School Musical on TOUR I gave in and went with my friend Sami. Yes, there were some stupid parts, but all together it was actually pretty good! We sat on the 11th row! Anyhoo, the dancing was great, and the wasn't too painful, so i wont be scarred for life or anything! It was fun!

Girls Camp!!

So, this past week I went to Girls Camp!! WOOO! It was so much fun being there with my friends! For those of you who don't know what that is, Girls Camp is when all of the young women at my church, (12 & up) , camp out in cabins and have a lot of fun being together, learning survival skills, making crafts(I will post a picture of one of those for you later, Trevlyn!), playing games, and strengthening our testimonies. Our theme this year was "A hero lies in you" and each ward was a different superhero. We were SPIDERMAN!! It was really great, but my ankles randomly started to swell up! Isn't that weird!? Anyway, enjoy the pics!!!

Okay, so this week, we went to Newport Coast in California for a mini family reunion, and a wedding for my grandma! We stayed at these beautiful suits that had two bedrooms two baths a kitchen, family room, dining room, and a balcony! It was SSSOOOOO much fun. I had a blast with my couisins. A Beautiful World!

Okay, so on Friday I decided I was going to go on a walk to the park and take pictures of the beautiful things I see! (I just got a PINK camera for my birthday!) I was just thinking about how much I am going to miss this pretty neighborhood when we move, even though the Texas hill contry is absolutely gorgeous! Anyway, the following are the two pictures that didn't get deleted when I combined the two files and said yes to replacing the same named nano pics like a retard and monkeys and bananas Edward is so shmexy........

Go ahead and say it... I know it's true. :) Ok, so first of all... I am 13!!!!!!! Yay!!! and here are picture of my party!

First, we all went to an improv comety show called Jesterz in Mesa! It was so much fun! We laughed really hard!! :)

After, we had a sleep over! Shuper fun!! :) :) :)

Second is that the last day of school was on Thursday.... it was depressing.... more info about that later, cuz i dont have the pics yet:)

Okay last thing is that I had a Bella moment..... (for those of you who have common sense and have read the Twilight books :) ) I was getting my bike out to ride it and I was turning it around to ride uphill. Basically it was too tight of a turn and the bike slipped ot fromunder me, and skidding across the road I went! :( My elbow is all skined up along with my nee, and I have two big briuses.

Guess what! I am chopped off my hair! I have been growing it out for about a year or two, so i can donate it to Locks of Love. They make wigs for kids who have cancer! The hair has ben driving me CRAZY with all the sheding and tangles (sorry those of you with long locks!) Anyway, I was looking all over the web, trying to find a hair do for my short, thin hair. Easter!

Last night I went to the Easter Pageant with my family. It is an amazing play that is put on every Easter by our church. There was also a photography presentation that was like a time line of Christ's life, and it was AMAZING. I was grateful that I got to see it, and feel the spirit.

We left to go to the Temple at 2:30...... so we could get a good spot on the lawn to lie our blanket down. (The pageant started at 8:00) Yeah, we had to wait six hours, but it was defiantly worth it, and not too bad, since we brought friends, books, games, and the weather was good. It was a great way to start off Easter. I hope this Sunday brings you thoughts of Christ, and time with loved ones. (Ooh! and don't forget CHOCOLATE!)

Coming up in my Advanced Language class, we are doing a long-term project on technology. I am going to do a report on music, and will be bringing in a record player, CD and tape player, and a mp3 player. I will tell some fun facts to the class, and play music on each one of these. I should be really fun.

(I am also doing a news report for science that I will try REALLY hard to get on here)

Oh, and also, so sorry for the delay on updates. My dad left on Thursday to go to Texas. :( We are all good though.

Also, here is the funny story some of you have been waiting for. So, a little while ago, our family was all at home, and my mom was in the den, and she saw some neighborhood kids ding-dong ditch us. They left something on our grass, and when they came back to see if we picked it up, my mom saw them again and called my Dad into the den to see. So, anyways, my dad decided to open the front door and yell, "HEY!", when he realized it was a bag of dog poop. They started running like crazy, while my mom and I watched my dad dart around the corner and chase one of the little farts!! We walked outside to hear a kid screaming, "Guys!Guys, wait up! Help guys! Help!" We were just in time to see the sight of my dad walking the kid back to our house with his hand grasping the kids coller, and the kid holding his shoe. After my parents lecture, the kid kept telling us it 'wasn't him' and 'Marco did it!'. My dad replied with, "Well, I suggest you choose some better Friends" and the kid said, "Yea, they're idiots". Ofcorse we made the kid take the poop home, and we couldn't stop laughing for hours. Pretty good, I must admit.

So............ here is a short updadte on my school week! We had a BIG, STUPID, RETARDED, TIME-WAISTING school project due Friday. We built sculpture out of tooth picks and your choice of a candy. "WOW! That sounds fun!", you might think. Yea, it sounded like fun, until every project looked like someone sat on it. It took SO log to do and ALL the kids had it for homework EVERYNIGHT. Anyways, I was incredibly bored ALL week as my whole family AND my BFF from school were ALL sick. (except me ofcorse) That song that goes "lonley! I'm Mr. Lonely! I have nobody! To call of my own!! AAAAAAAEEEEEEEE!" was rolling through my head this whole week! (Dont critisize me on my lyric accurency!)

So with both of these things going on, I've really had to "Think Pink" and pitch in on some things at school and around the house....all this week.

President Gordon B. Hincly's Funeral

Today, on BYU t.v., our family watched our beloved prophets funeral and devotional. He will be missed VERY much. The talks givin were SO sweet, and i am glad that i was able to see it. They talked about some really cute stories that I will always remember about him. President Hinckley made our church grow in so many different ways, and we were lucky to have him in our lives, and in our world.

Bless you! Sickness is in the air during this season, and aparently... in my system,too. (I can relate to Mrs. G's membrains Alexis!!) If when i say sickness i mean stomach acid........ Yep! GROSS! So, here is the story for those of you who dont read minds...:) Yesterday I got out of the shower and I had some cramps around my waist. (Mommy thought it was the usual girly stuff...if you know what I mean) Anyway, i just kinda ignored them and ate a typical breakfast. (Cereal..toast...yadda yadda) Well, when I got to school I seriously felt as if I was being repeadiadly stabed in the stomach. So, in secound hour I called my parents and they picked me up. (by this time i was in tears, but i AM a cryer..so) At home i curled up in a ball, drank gatoraide, and tried to ignore my gurgleing(yes i said GURGLEING) tummy. Luckly, at young womens, i talked to nurse Nancy, (my moms freind who knows EVERYTHING about sickly children:)) and we pick up some meds from her house after she figured out my stange belly problems:) I have to take it to shool and have one an hour before evey meal.... AAARRRRG! but better than a stomach ache, right? At least i dont look as bad as the pink panther in this pic!! :)

Anyone seen National Treasure 2? Whatda think? TELL ME!! :)I saw it a week or two ago with Lexie (Alexis) and it was REALY good. Long...but good. So, anyway back to the real reason for the post! I am not going to school tommorrow, cuz they are going on a feild trip to see it. tee-hee! Anyways, so Alexis is not going to school either, so we are going to hang-out and then go to the school dance at 6:00 pm. It will be fun. MY FIRST DANCE!!!! woo! See what I said after HERE!

Second, I am going to do a book club with my language teacher who I LOVE!! I am trying REALLY hard to get her to do the Princess diary books...there is nine.... The authors web page is REALLY cool! Hmmmmmm.............am I glad to be back at school??? OR not?? Do you ever feel like a rain cloud is following you? (Huh funny, it was a rainy day already!) Well, first of all.... I got a new scedual that i am NOT happy about. I got switched to a new math hour, and it gets a little hard to participate with certain people around me if you know what i mean. But, on the bright side, i have a new hour with Lexi-poo! I also have to start out the day (well, the secound part of the day) with a REALY strict and a little strange PE teacher. Today, at church, i was set apart to be the first councilor in my young women's class! I am SO excited! I absolutely love the president , Martha , too. She is so sweet and will be a great leader. I can't wait to work with her to welcome new young women, and to plan out activities for the ones we have right now.

Yesterday, I auditioned for our stake play, Hello Dolly, which my mother is directing. I am exited to see the cast list. It is going to be put on the stake play website sometime between the 17th & 19th. Hello Dolly is going to be a BLAST!!!

Today my mom and I went to Olive Garden with Autumn and Gayla. It was really fun to go to lunch and just hang out. Mmmmmm.....yummy!

Tonight are the first auditions for our Stake play at my church. It should be really fun, but i am nervous. I am hoping to get a part were i can be on stage alot. What do ya think? Can you picture me with a green suit, frizzy hair, and a unicycle?? LOL Im jk.
